Snow Blower Buying Guide

Snow is just around the corner for all of us in Sheboygan County. We have to be ready for snow even if it doesn’t come until December. In order to be ready when the snow flies we have a few tips on getting a good snow blower to handle the area you need plowed this year.

When picking out a snow blower, first look at your space you will be clearing. Do you get frequent snow that is heavy and need something more powerful? Do you have a wide or hilly driveway where drifts accumulate? If so, you would need something with more power to clear your area.

If you have a small driveway or are looking to clear decks that don’t get more than 5-6 inches then something smaller will work great for you. The lighter machines are easier to move around from a porch or deck space.

We have recommended two snow blowers that will get the snow cleared off a huge driveway that has 12 inches of snow or if you need something that only gets 3 inches of wet snow clear.
